A ESCOLHA de vereadores para integrar as comissões permanentes do Legislativo, responsáveis pela análise e emissão de pareceres em projetos da própria Câmara e da Prefeitura, antes da votação em plenário, ainda nem começou a ser discutida. Em vários municípios essa definição ocorre na mesma sessão em que a Mesa Diretora é eleita.

São sete as comissões: Justiça, Legislação e Redação; Finanças e Orçamento; Obras e Serviços Públicos; Educação, Cultura e Esportes; Planejamento, Uso, Ocupação, Parcelamento do Solo e Meio Ambiente; Saúde e Assistência Social e Desenvolvimento Econômico e Turismo.

As comissões são formadas por um presidente, um vice, um secretário e um suplente e pelo menos duas delas, Justiça, Legislação e Redação e Finanças e Orçamento, são as mais importantes, porque por elas passam, obrigatoriamente, a maioria das propostas para discussão dos vereadores.

Reunião prevista para hoje para discutir a montagem das comissões, que tem um total de 28 vagas. Como são 13 os vereadores, todos ocupam mais de uma comissão.
