Todas as pessoas com mais de 18 anos e que estejam em situação regular poderão receber o comunicado e a seleção é feita atendendo a determinados critérios, e em seguida, de forma aleatória.
Impedimentos – Quem tiver impedimentos terá cinco dias após a chegada da correspondência para pedir dispensa. Estão incluídas nessa categoria as pessoas com familiares de até segundo grau que sejam candidatos ou que sejam filiadas a partidos políticos.
Os eleitores com doenças que impeçam o comparecimento ao local de trabalho, ou que estarão em viagem – serão analisados individualmente pela Justiça Eleitoral.
Treinamento – Segundo a chefe do Cartório Eleitoral de Mairiporã, Célia Regina Fernandes Brito, o eleitor convocado terá obrigatoriamente de participar de um dia de treinamento, que acontecerá no mês de setembro, no plenário da Câmara de Vereadores.
Os convocados serão divididos em seis turmas, e o curso acontece nos dias 21, 22 e 23 de setembro. Nestas eleições, Mairiporã terá aproximadamente 970 mesários distribuídos em 180 seções eleitorais. Após o pleito, essas pessoas terão direito a dois dias de folga para compensar o treinamento e mais dois dias após as eleições.
Os eleitores convocados que não comparecerem ao local de trabalho sem justificativa aceita pela Justiça Eleitoral ficarão sujeitos a processo administrativo com possibilidade de multa. Eventualmente, poderão sofrer processo criminal, dependendo da análise judicial.
Voluntários podem se inscrever no Cartório Eleitoral da 237ª Zona de Mairiporã, portando Carteira de Identidade e Título de Eleitor. Os atendimentos são feitos de segunda a sexta-feira das 12h às 18 horas. O Cartório fica na rua Ipiranga, 84, centro.
